Women: the First Preachers - Unisex Tee

To say women were undervalued as citizens in the first century would be an understatement. It was taboo for the common woman to speak with a man outside her own family in public, let alone attempt to have any kind of public voice or authority. Yet, Jesus chose two women to announce His resurrection. Women who would otherwise have no significant role in society were suddenly given divine authority to ignite the flame of the global movement that persists today.

These two women were, literally, the first preachers of the Gospel message.

Jesus empowered women by promoting them. Let’s do the same.
